LETTER TO ELISE

Official Bio

Letter to Elise is a five-piece band delivering Rust Belt Rock ’n’ Roll with a modern edge, blending Buffalo grit with the shimmering synth sound of their 80s influences. Their music captures the soul of the Rust Belt: emotional storytelling, vivid imagery, and the resilience of a city that never stops singing. With catchy hooks, driving rhythms, and intricate guitar work, carving out their place as one of Western New York’s most exciting new acts.

Following the release of their 5-track EP "Risen From Rust," the band is preparing to unveil their debut LP, "the five stages of grief." The ten-track album explores loss, growth, nostalgia, and acceptance through a collection of songs that blend haunting reflection with electrifying energy. Led by the single "would you know me now," the record showcases a sound that feels both timeless and urgent.

This momentum has carried them to national stages as contestants on NBC’s The Voice, where they continue to share their story with a wider audience. Back home, they recently teamed up with Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls to record a high-energy cover of “Mr. Brightside,” a nod to Buffalo’s tradition of belting the anthem at Bills games.

With their blend of nostalgia and innovation, Letter to Elise delivers music that feels like an echo of the past and a shout into the future.
